BB# 24: How this client got 771 leads, 43 booked calls and did £37k in sales. Follow these steps!

One of my clients is a coach working with people to ‘give themself a pay rise’ by starting something on the side of their main job and then growing that into their full time gig.

She’s experienced and successful, doing around £8k per month on average over the last 12 months.

But she wanted to grow, make a bigger impact and subsequently make more money for herself and her family. Fair enough right?

Before our work together it was all organic. Lots of outreach and networking. Some months were great other months were terrible. She did launches that made 15-20k and then earnt nothing the next month.

And she was attracting people who weren’t willing to pay and therefore rather than saying no she was committing the cardinal sin of coaching: Discounting!!

When you discount you erode your brand and more importantly you erode your confidence. It sends a signal to your brain that says “my stuff isn’t worth it, it doesn’t work as well as i thought'“. That can spiral in the wrong direction.

We got to work and here’s what we did:

• Created a brilliant signature offer.

  Way more compelling for her people. More understandable. Simpler. One offer not loads. People need it simple.

• Increased her prices. Yes you heard that right. We created a super high value, high priced solution that was based on her very best work. When you create the thing you’re pumped and excited to deliver it’s not a hard sell. You’re passionate about it. You shout about it, and it shows in everything you say and do.

• No discounts. Can’t stress this enough. But the OFFER was approachable for people. They could get started easily.

• Create demand. In addition to the organic we ran paid ads.

Here’s the steps for the paid ads:

1. Created warm campaigns for people who knew her.

2. Created cold campaigns for people that didn’t know her.

3. Built a simple email and SMS nurture sequence for all leads.

4. Built a funnel to take people from interested to booked call in her diary.

And look at the results from the 8 campaigns we ran:

I would draw your attention to a few things.

Not all campaigns worked well. That’s normal.

Within each campaign were various different ads to test creatives and copy. Some killed it and others bombed. That’s normal.

But the stand out result:

771 leads in total at 56 pence each!! Total of £435!!

That’s epic, but to be fully transparent it’s not common. Usually the cost per lead would be £1-4 but we had a few different things running, she had some great traction, and to be fair I do know my way around the ads platform having been running ads for over 10 years and well over a million quid going to Meta in that time!!

From those leads she booked 43 calls from this campaign which ran for 30 days. Yes that’s booked calls, in the diary.

That was literally unheard of before we began.

From those calls she sold 6 programmes.

She made £22.5k. Pretty good.

Then the next month we kept running but worked on her sales skills. That conversion rate is okay but not great.

The next month she made 8 sales. £29k.

Following month 10. Total £37k.

That’s 5x return on her original 8k/m business in just a few months.

People don’t think these numbers are possible, but they are.

They don’t want to think they are possible because they aren’t getting them.

Here’s the thing. These results are so possible but only if you give yourself permission to stop wallowing around and start actually making moves.

And how life changing that could be.

Drop the scarcity mindset and start thinking big.

Stop trying to do it yourself and get the help you need.
