3 Things to Change Your Life…

I’m biased but today’s MMF really nails it. We jump into it with some thoughts on better questions to ask yourself to get the results you want. And then into simple entrepreneurial ideas, and finally doing the work to get to freedom. I think you’ll like it, but first a question:

I’ve had a number of requests to host an event in Barcelona later this year (probably November). And teach the operating system for how to build an online coaching business, as well as do some really fun stuff.

MINDSET : 

“We can’t solve problems using the same thinking that created them”.

I wish I said that first. But alas, it was Einstein. Quite smart by all accounts? :)

He’s right.

“What got you here won’t get you there”. Again it wasn’t me who said that, it was Marshall Goldsmith.

They’re both onto something.

When you’re looking to level up, get unstuck, or find the answers and it’s bugging you, it’s not happening for you, it’s causing you stress and pain,

my advice…

STOP.

Ask a different question, get a different answer.

That question is this…

“Who can help me solve this problem?

Who already has the answer? Who would find this super easy?”

Ask them. And come up with a plan.

So much smarter (and more fun).

MONEY:

Entrepreneurship doesn’t need to be complicated. It also doesn’t need to be sexy.

Yesterday I spent the day masterminding with my friend Mark.

He showed me a YouTube channel that does in depth tutorials on (wait for it), deep cleaning rugs!!!

Super sexy stuff right!!

But the channel gets millions of views.

Punching it into a YouTube revenue calculator it’s doing a minimum of 13k per month from showing you how to deep clean rugs.

Look if the numbers work and it gives you freedom lean into it.

You don’t get to decide what the market wants. Entrepreneurship is solving problems for people. Your job is to spot those problems.

FREEDOM:

In the last few years we’ve been brainwashed to build big businesses and use words like ‘scale’ a lot.

You might want to build a big business.

But that is not in of itself going to give you freedom. It’s actually likely to take it away.

Freedom is actually about doing work you love. With clients you love.

Notice I used the word ‘work’ there.

Yes freedom involves work.

And discipline.

Because we humans like that stuff to feel fulfilled.

So big business or not, my plan has always been to make passions and my hobbies into my work.
