MINDSET :
Signing High Value Clients (HVC) is one of the things I work with people on the most. You know, the clients that will pay thousands for your services. Often ten’s of thousands. The guru’s are selling courses on this all the time that literally never work because they don’t actually address the root cause of your inability to sign these people.
Your ability to sign HVC is directly related to your ability to do the following:
1. Hold Your Nerve.
2. Show courage.
3. Be genuinely equal to the client (not beneath them)
4. BE a leader to that person.
It’s all mindset related. Not sales funnels or marketing trickery. It’s not about ‘profit or loss’ or ‘sets and reps’.
Think of it this way. A Sunday league football manager knows a lot about football. But could they manage in the premier league? Highly likely not, but it’s not because they don’t know enough about football, it’s because they cannot mix in those circles with those players, those egos, that culture.
Points 1-4 above come from how you value yourself. And let me tell you this, your skill set is a big factor. Are you certain you can deliver? So before you invest in a course teaching you the latest funnel ask yourself that question, am I certain I can deliver for these people? If the answer is no, then work harder on your skills, your results and your positioning as a human in society than anything else.

MONEY:
Let’s talk Communities. When I first started business coaching my philosophy at the time was Ready, FIRE, Aim. Take your idea and get it out there. Then shape it.
It served me very well indeed, but things have evolved. Now it’s just FIRE, and Aim. There is no ‘ready’ anymore.
Why? Because of the ability to build community so easily and workshop your ideas, listen to your people and then come up with the products and services they want. The people in the community will literally tell you everything you need to know about building your product.
And guess what It may not be the thing that’s in your head right now! Being fixed in your ideas is a surefire way to not sell stuff online!
The way to think about business in 2024 is ACP. Audience, Community, Product.
This week I’ve spoken to three founders about building their communities. Two will have them set up by the time you’re reading this! The other one I can sense is fixed in their approach and will talk themselves out of it because ‘they know’….yer right how’s that working for you :)
Remember what true entrepreneurship is. Solving a problem. You do that by asking and listening.
So my question to you is this: What community could you create on WhatsApp or Telegram TODAY? Who would it be for?
FREEDOM:
Your belief on what your future looks like is flawed. It’s based on what’s gone before (the last 30 or 40 years). If you listen to these messages your future will look like your life now, you’ll just be older.
But stop. Think about what you want your future to look like. The things you want to do, the people you want to spend time with. This is your created future.
Writing ideas down on a piece of paper and chanting them to yourself every morning doesn’t make them come true though. Sorry!
Your actions every single day, your behaviours, these are the things that change your future. Start by behaving today like the person who already has the future you want. Go right to the end and behave exactly like that person.
Yesterday I had a call with one of my annual coaching clients. She’s a leadership expert working with corporates. She said to me “I’m ready to make the sacrifices needed to be where I want to be”. I believe her. She wants to make it happen. And she will.
But the question is will you?
