‘IF YOU CAN SEE IT, YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT’

Let’s explore the world of coaching business models and services today. There’s so many ways to complicate things and most people do. Instead look for simplicity.
When you launch your coaching business I always teach people to create from a place of ‘what is my best work, who is it for, and what does it deliver (outcome)? If you want more detail on this click here and here for recent posts.
What you’re doing is creating your very best offer (use my offer framework for that).
The thing about your very best offer is it’s not scalable. And the guru’s always tell you to launch a ‘scaleable business’ right?
Wrong. Every business is unscalable first. But especially if you want to do impactful, transformational coaching.
Your job is to create amazing transformations and really help people. But there will then come a point when you can’t take any more clients and you will want to work less and earn more.
That’s when it’s time to introduce leverage and scale.
An example. My fees for 121 business coaching is 50k per year plus a profit share. That fee means I partner with you in your life and business and we make things happen together. I can’t take on many clients like this.
So my group coaching programme is a much better fit. It’s more accessible at 5-15k and works for 80% of people I support.
I also have some standalone consulting and coaching sessions which are around the £1-3k mark.
And then of course my free content. That everyone can experience at no charge.
And that pathway is what it’s all about.
It’s an example of what I call the ‘Good - Better - Best’ framework.
Sometimes it might look like this:
Good - Better - Even Better - Best, like in the example above with 4 levels.
My free content is good. (You’re reading it now, hopefully you agree!).
If you want to move up a level you can join my group or do a standalone coaching session.
Above that is my 121 coaching which will only ever be for a select few people or companies.
And then finally above that are investments and partnerships.
What about you in your business? What levels do you have for people to join your business?
Here’s a couple more examples from previous businesses or mine you may be familiar with:
Lean Body Challenge.
Good: Online challenge.
Better: Online challenge with ebook and recipe resources.
Best: Coached Programme to support the challenge.
When I launched the lean body challenge the ‘good’ option was the online challenge.
Over time I introduced the other levels and turned this into a 6 figure income.
My education company SCE:
Good: Total online.
Better: Online with supporting practical workshops.
Best: Online with mentoring programme.
I scaled to 7 figures in 4 years in this business.
What do you need to do now?
Firstly do not rush this. Don’t try to do everything at once.
My advice is create your very best offer and deliverables for people. This will be your unscalable work.
Then move a little away from this and ask how could you do this in a group setting? So you could take on more clients.
Your marketing budget will likely be directed at your scalable model which then act’s as a pathway for your higher level coaching.
So your job?
Understand where you are currently. If you don’t have clients work on creating more impactful programmes at higher price points.
Once you have that buzzing along you can introduce more.
When you’re filling one programme create the next.
The game is in slowing down to get things right.
