This week is about three things that will change how you think, how you make money, and how you create freedom in your life.

  1. If in doubt, zoom out. When you’re stuck in fear or anticipation, it’s almost never as bad as it feels. Zooming out gives you clarity.

  2. Status matters. If you want to build a brand that lasts, you have to reward and elevate the people inside your business.

  3. Redefine wealth. True wealth is not just about money. It is about the way you live.

MINDSET : IF IN DOUBT, ZOOM OUT

This is a phrase I have used for years.

Whenever I’m in the middle of something challenging, fear, anxiety, pressure, I remind myself of it:

If in doubt, zoom out.

When you’re in the weeds of a problem, it’s easy to feel like the world is ending. You start projecting disaster, obsessing over what might happen, and most of the time, the actual outcome is nowhere near as bad as the one you imagined.

So wherever you’re at right now, whether it’s stress about money, a client issue, a family problem, take a step back. Zoom out. Look at the big picture.

What will this mean in 12 months?

What are you learning through it?

Where can you choose power over panic?

Zooming out brings perspective. And perspective brings peace.

MONEY: REWARDING STATUS IN YOUR BUSINESS

As much as I talk about outcomes in coaching and business, status and affiliation are just as important if you want to build something lasting.

Right now, I’m in the Salamanca district of Madrid. It’s an affluent part of the city. And you can see what status looks like here:

• We all go to this coffee shop after the school run.

• We train at this gym.

• We wear these brands.

• We sit outside this wine bar.

Status is quiet but powerful. It creates belonging.

For academics, it’s more letters after the name and speaking at the big conferences.

For coaches, it might be authority, results, client success stories.

For coaching clients, status could be just being in the room with winners.

So the question is: What is status for the people you serve?

Once you define that, your next move is to reward and elevate it.

Here are five ways to do that in any business:

1. Create milestone recognitions.

Shout out clients or customers when they hit key wins or achievements. Make success visible.

2. Build an insider tier.

Give your most loyal people a name. A tier. An identity that only they can belong to.

3. Create opportunities to lead.

Turn your top clients or customers into advocates. Give them early access, host small leadership groups, or let them mentor others.

4. Share their story.

Feature them on your content. Celebrate their journey. Let their story become part of your brand narrative.

5. Offer exclusive experiences.

Private calls, invites to in-person events, surprise gifts. Make them feel seen and valued.

Build status and people stay. Build affiliation and people bring others with them.

FREEDOM: REDEFINING WEALTH

Let’s talk about wealth.

Not in the bank balance sense. In the life sense.

Here’s an acronym for this that helps me stay grounded in what really matters:

W – Work you love

You don’t have to dread Monday morning. Real wealth is doing work that lights you up.

E – Experiences

Travel, food, art, adventure. The moments that stay with you for life.

A – Assets that pay you

Wealth is not trading time for money forever. It’s having assets that pay you whether you’re working or not.

L – Loved ones

Your people. Your family. Your tribe. Time spent with them is never wasted.

T – Time freedom

The ability to choose how you spend your days. That is real luxury.

H – Health

Without health, nothing else matters. With it, everything becomes easier.

So this week, ask yourself:

How wealthy are you really?

And where do you need to invest to become richer in the ways that count?

Keep making it happen.
