3 Things to Change Your Life…

Happy Saturday.

This week is about three things that will change how you think, how you make money, and how you create freedom in your life.

1. Make the decision to be a winner or you won’t be one. The way you speak about yourself and the beliefs you reinforce will determine how far you go.

2. If you want to make more money as a coach, you need to embody courage, leadership, and certainty. These are the three non-negotiables for success.

3. Real freedom comes when you stop trying to do everything yourself and instead work with people who are better than you.

MINDSET : 

Until you decide to be a winner, you won’t be one.

This is so important. I was speaking with someone this week who I talk to regularly, and I realised that nearly every time we speak, they make comments about themselves that diminish their talent massively.

They almost put themselves back in a box. And if you keep doing that, you will never get out of the box. Ever.

Your words matter. The way you describe yourself matters. Even when you’re joking. If you keep reinforcing the idea that you are stuck, not good enough, not ready, then guess what happens? You stay stuck.

Before anything else, you have to make the decision. You have to say, I am going to win. I don’t care how long it takes. I am going to win.

Until you fundamentally make that decision, you won’t.

MONEY:

If you want to make more money as a coach, you have to demonstrate three things in everything you do.

1. Courage: The courage to challenge people. The courage to speak your mind. The courage to lead. If you are constantly seeking approval and avoiding hard conversations, you are not leading. Clients want coaches who will push them forward, not just agree with them.

2. Leadership: You have to lead your people. You have to be visible. You have to be seen leading. The reality is, the number of people you need to build an incredible coaching business is small. And they are looking for leadership more than ever before. They want someone to follow. Be that person.

3. Certainty: People buy certainty. They need to feel that you can take them to their goal. That can come through your case studies, through your language, through your behaviour. If you hesitate, if you doubt, if you appear unsure, they will not follow you.

Courage. Leadership. Certainty.

If you want to make more money, start showing these qualities.

FREEDOM:

One of the most freeing elements of growth is realising that you don’t have to do everything yourself.

And the best way I have heard this put is who, not how.

If you have an objective, if you have a goal, stop asking, how do I do this? Instead, ask, who can help me do this?

Want to lose weight? Find a great trainer who already knows how to do it.
Want to make more money? Get a coach who has already done it.
Want to improve your relationships? Work with someone who can guide you.
Want to climb a mountain? Hire a guide who has already been to the top.

This is not complicated. It is not rocket science. But most people make their lives ten times harder than they need to be because they are too focused on figuring everything out themselves.

When you start thinking who and not how, life gets simpler. And you get freer.
