MINDSET : YOU ARE IN YOUR PRIME
I’ve had a number of conversations recently with business owners and coaches who are questioning their timing.
They think they’re either too young and not ready yet.
Or too old, and they’ve missed the window.
Let me be really clear.
If you’re anywhere between 20 and 65 (and even beyond), you are in your prime.
When you’re young, you’ve got the energy, the ambition, the hunger, the belief that anything is possible.
Later, you’ve got experience, perspective, and refined skills.
And somewhere in your 30s and 40s, you might still have both.
That’s a dangerous combination, in the best possible way.
Even if your experience isn’t perfectly “relevant,” it doesn’t matter.
It’s still experience.
And clients are paying for wisdom, perspective, clarity, and confidence.
The truth is, most of the coaches I speak to, especially the ones questioning their value, have more to offer than they realise.
So here’s your reminder:
Leverage what you’ve got.
The skills you have now are what you’re selling.
MONEY : THE STEAK WAS JUST THE HOOK!
Last week, I got on a plane and flew a few hours just to eat steak.
Some people thought it was ridiculous.
“You can get great steak in Barcelona or London.”
And sure, you can.
But I wasn’t just going for the steak.
I was going for the experience.
I met up with a long-time friend.
We built the trip around something we both love- great food.
And what the restaurant delivered was something unforgettable.
Yes, the steak was world class.
But the real magic was the experience:
Visiting the farm
Touring the winery
Watching the story unfold through their documentary
Seeing the history, the craftsmanship, the care behind everything
That’s what made it extraordinary.
That’s what justifies the trip, and the price.
So what does this mean for you as a coach, as a business owner in 2025?
People are not buying coaching.
They’re buying experiences.
They’re buying emotional resonance.
They’re buying connection and storytelling and transformation.
It’s not about the features or the checklist.
It’s about how it makes them feel.
When someone writes a big cheque, they want to feel part of something special.
They want to believe in it.
So my challenge to you is this:
Stop thinking in terms of profit and loss, sets and reps or whatever’s relevant for you.
Start thinking in terms of experience design.
Go on more experiences yourself.
Take notes.
Then create your own versions for your clients.
That’s how you build a meaningful, high-value business in this climate.

FREEDOM: CAN YOU SEE IT?
Freedom starts between your ears.
Might be cheesy, but it’s true.
If you can’t see your version of freedom…
You won’t build it.
So here’s the question:
Can you see your freedom?
Can you picture the place you want to live?
Can you see yourself living in that location?
Can you visualise more hiking days, more time for yourself, more space to breathe and create?
Clarity comes before commitment.
Because when your vision becomes sharp,
not having it becomes painful.
And that pain becomes fuel.
Fuel to focus.
Fuel to move.
Fuel to stop settling.
The alternative?
You keep your head down.
You avoid dreaming.
You pretend you’re fine with less.
But really, you’re just running away from what you truly want.
And let’s be honest,
That’s not why you’re on this list, is it?
Take a few minutes today.
See it.
Feel it.
And then work on your next move toward it.
